Tsukuda Park
-
A park with a moat, located along the Sumida River, with the taste of old-time downtown
-
Tsukuda Park was created on top of the super embankments that resulted from the River City 21 development. Inside the park you can find a recreation of a lighthouse built during the Bakumatsu period, and a cherry tree transplanted from Higashine in Yamagata. There is also a moat in the park, and the surrounding streets of Tsukuda still foster the atmopshre of the old-time downtown.
